Fukuji—Takayama area (a) is the type locality of this belt (Tsukada et al., 2004).

Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
It is in fault contact with the Arakigawa Fm (Tsukada et al., 1997; Tsukada & Niwa 2005). Regionally, the schematic strat column indicates the next older unit as Funatsu Granite Fm.
Upper contact
Regionally, the schematic strat column indicates the next younger unit as Moributype Gr
